Thank you for this, Melissa. Your wild words really reminded me of a little walk in the woods I took today. I was too tired but once there, I knew it was the best thing for me.
You've encouraged me to try and write about it.
(Thanks for sharing this in Victoria's recent thread. That's how I came to find your soothing poem)
Hi, Janelle. Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to give Daydreaming a read. I’m so glad that it has inspired you to write about your walk in the woods. May you remember how that precious time captivated all of your senses. 🧡🌲
holy shit. I am in love with this. I read it once and then had to go back and read it aloud and pretend like I was performing it for some poetry night and I had no fear of public speaking and i was a cool artsy poetry girl so thank you for that. unbelievable writing.
Omg stop it! 😆 I am SO happy that you liked it and that you got a chance to role-play a bit. 😉 I like to imagine that I’m at poetry night too, but I would be shaking in my boots lol. Thank you for the sweet compliment. 🧡🧡🧡
As I'm listening to your sweet voice, with the added layer of the music, your painting that is on its way to me popped into my head....and I could just feel it ALL (both emotional and tactile) as well as smell it! Multi-sensory art at its finest. And definitely magic!
As I said to TJ, there is such an intimacy to the experience when I can hear your voice.
Hit. It. Out. Of. The. Ballpark.
Hmmm. The only sense I didn't experience was taste. What would it taste like there?
i sometimes wonder too if i'm really a mythological creature. do you think in 2,000 years, our descendants will look back at us and believe we were myths?

Loved to listen to daydreaming and I was Born a caterpillar 🐛🦋
Thanks ❤️
Thank you so much for listening! 🧡☺️
Excellent
Thanks, Pam. ☺️
You have a beautiful voice. It’s easy to listen to. You paired the poem with the perfect song.
Thank you so much, April. 🥰
Beautiful Melissa! I'll definitely join you there. :)
Thank you, Carolyn. We’d have so much fun! 🧡
A dancing mythical creature carries hope and freedom in my mind. 💖
I like that, Terje! 🥰

Thank you, Lisa! I think I’ll continue to add voiceovers to some of my writings. I wish I had a really cool accent, but my voice is so plain lol.
In my mind, the forest tastes like a hot cup of tea with a teaspoon of honey and just a hint of lemon. It tastes like heaven. 😘
If plain means soothing and rich and soulful…
I too wish for a cool accent - I’m working on my Mexican one. Ha!
Yep! That’s the taste ♥️

Oooh, that’s a really good question! I, too, wonder what they will say about us. Gosh, I’d love to be a fly on the wall then.
Soothing
I’m so glad, Kate. Thank you. 🥰
Melissa, your words emit a sense of calm beauty, and I thoroughly enjoyed this poem.
Thank you so much for saying so, Tina. I’m thrilled that you liked it. 🧡
